One piece of borosilicate glass, a wood collar and a leather tie, unchanged since 1941 and sitting in the MoMA collection on merit. The filters are thick enough to strip out every oil, which is the whole point — the cup comes out clear, sweet and tea-like.

How we brew it
- Rinse the filter thoroughly — it is thick and it tastes of paper if you do not
- 42g coffee, medium-coarse, to 700g water
- Bloom with 100g for 45 seconds
- Pour to 700g in three additions, finish around 4:30
